If you are a motivated writer, a talented photographer, an artist or
illustrator we would love to hear from you. Ether publishes two
long features each month (1500 words), an expat profile (350
words), shorter features (1000 words), and Vienna Calling
reviews/recommendations (50-70 words). We are looking for
articles on local news, local history, feature stories, criticism,
community issues, essays, profiles of English or German
speaking icons as well as arts and cultural schedules that relate
to life in Vienna .

Proposals for articles should be submitted by email to
katiebinns@ethermagazine.at

You will receive a notice of acceptance/rejection within 15 days.
The deadline for submission of finished articles is the 5th of
every month . If you wish to view your article post-editing, please
make sure it is submitted 10 days before deadline at the latest,
and that this request is clearly stated. You will need to maintain
email correspondence to view your work after editing and before
publication. Acceptance of a proposal or submission of an article
does not guarantee its publication—the editor retains the right to
request rewrites or to reject a piece at any stage. The editor's
decision is final.
